The two nature parks Black Forest Center / North (3750 square kilometers area) and Southern Black Forest (3950 square kilometers area) are among the three largest nature parks in Germany. Within the Central / North Nature Park is also the Black Forest National Park; the first national park in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

The 11,100 square kilometer holiday region in the southwest is one of the largest in Germany. It has much more to offer than postcard stereotypes and is about 200 km long and 30 to 60 km wide: The Black Forest, the largest mountain range in Germany stands for constantly changing natural landscapes such as long forested mountains in the north, broad meadow valleys in the middle Black Forest and the wide tree-free mountain peaks at 1493 m ascending southern Black Forest.

Hotel La Toscana is located directly at Europapark Rust in Ringsheim, along the A5 motorway, exit 57b Rust. By car or hotel shuttle you can reach the popular adventure park in just 5 minutes. Furthermore, the famous Black Forest with its many attractions is only a short distance away. Attractive cities such as Strasbourg, Colmar and Freiburg are easily accessible via the motorway. There are many activities in the area such as hiking, cycling and e-biking. You can explore numerous Black Forest and wine villages such as Ettenheim, Herbolzheim, Rheinhausen, Kappel-Grafenhausen, Mahlberg, Kippenheim and Riegel am Kaiserstuhl.
